Christopher Kape serves as a Director at Splash Technology. He is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist who founded JAMCO Capital, an early stage venture capital and consulting firm that focuses on the gaming, high tech and wellness industries.

For over 20 years, Chris has had an eye for value and has helped many private and public businesses in various stages of their life cycle, from incubation to commercialization to maturity, culminating thus far in four (4) notable and successful business exits, including Don Best Sports to Scientific Games in 2018.

​

Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario and went on to earn his Master of Business Administration from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.

As someone who values service work, Chris has organized and traveled to over 45 countries, including rural Uganda, India, Colombia, Costa Rica and Bulgaria, amongst others, where he has promoted literacy and access to clean water by helping to build schools and water access /catchments systems.

​

He was also a board member and treasurer of Learning Buddies Network in Vancouver, Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping struggling young children at inner-city elementary schools develop essential literacy and math skills through free, one-on-one, after school tutoring programs.

​

In his free time, Chris enjoys staying active and is an avid runner and biker. He also volunteers at his three children’s schools and for their sports teams.
